Director: Nomak is new to the music director field, but he is not new to the world of visual entertainment and music. As a well known Jazz Hip Hop producer/VJ from the mid 2000s, Nomak's releases have garnered not only mainstream attention via his licensing collaborations with Prada, Chanel, Billabong, and Sony, but also critical acclaim that sees him compared to contemporaries like Nujabes, Dj Okawari, and Fat Jon. His shows are an audio visual affair where he not only provides the music, but creates the accompanying backdrops for a full immersive experience. Nomak continues to produce and put out projects, while following his newfound passions of photography and video production.
Summary: Higher, the music video, is the first video shot, edited, and directed by Japanese Hip Hop producer Nomak and the second collaboration with Cleveland bred Hip Hop artist Paulie Rhyme. The video is shot primarily in Handa, Aichi, the hometown of Moto and Maco (who are also featured on the song) and where Paulie Rhyme is currently based. The song was the first single off Paulie Rhyme's latest project, as entitled Higher, and is inspired by the ups and downs of facing this new global normal, and connecting with your community for support and inspiration.
This is what GOAT music sounds like!!!! A Legend!!!
