Submitted by artist Mahlon Rhodes “The Charm & The Return”- is a collaboration between virtual band, Flatts Fields, Videographer, Jake Pitonak and Producer/ Art Director, Melinda Stephan.
The film came about through a shared vision of creating an “iceberg experience”; a project where the music is merely the first step into a deeper world, where songs stand on their own, but represent chapters that create cohesive narratives when combined in sequence. This concept is at the heart of Flatts Fields as a project; with the goal being to highlight the stories we make, expressed through music and paired with visual mediums to create deeper experiences for audiences. Instead of focusing on the personal identities of the band, all visual elements support the narratives.
