Long-dedicated to upholding and aligning himself with the first-class carriage and aesthetic of timeless entertainment, American singer/actor/dancer/recording artist Elijah Rock is a new resident of Boise, ID! Rock recently headlined The Famous Cotton Club in New York City and frequently headlines in Las Vegas and around the world. Rock has long made his mission clear of keeping the proud traditions and legacies of The Great American Songbook not just alive…but vibrant. The Legendary Tony Bennett recently celebrated Rock by saying, “Keep on singing and keep this beautiful music alive!”
The success of Rock’s first solo album, “Gershwin For My Soul” set a strong foundation for this rising star. Rock’s latest 10-song sophomore recording, “Matters of The Heart” and Spanish EP “Matters of The Heart En Español” continues his impassioned excavations of love’s seductive soundtrack and even contributes a couple of sparkling originals to the brew. “My goal as always, is to pay homage to and further the legacy of American Classical Jazz heritage,” Rock states. “To make this vital music more meaningful, universal and ultimately entertaining to audiences young…and young at heart. Since moving to Boise eight months ago, I have fallen in love with the people here who seem to appreciate first class entertainment. Therefore, I couldn't be more thrilled to present memorable performances at The Sapphire Room.” Currently, Rock is releasing a string of single's followed by an upcoming EP release of Standard classics with a western swing twist, entitled ‘Swoon,” produced by Hall of Fame Songwriter and Producer Steve Dorff.
“ROCK’S SWINGING STYLE AND LARGE VOICE RECALL TONY BENNETT, FRANK SINATRA AND NAT KING COLE OF THE 1950’S WITHOUT CLOSELY COPYING ANY OF THEM.”

My music video to "I'm Gonna Sit Down and Write Myself a Letter" was produced and directed by Yours Truly. The ethos and vision of the video was to capture a performance piece in one of Nashville's most iconic recording studios- CURB STUDIOS. I also wanted the video to capture the jovial essence of the song lyrics and my storytelling.
Not sure how you were able to infuse that song with elements of country but it works. Fun light-hearted vibe! Unique
